Last year we introduced the big air evolution of the Nitro to the kite market, and it delivered.

One of the most anticipated kites, grasped the kite world by the horns and took riders to all new heights.

For 04 the Nitro is back again and through the work of the Cabrinha International Big Air team and the crew at Design Works, we have taken yet again another evolutionary jump forwards.

Refined profiles to help maintain canopy support during extreme tricks and the new 7 point Apex bridle gives the riders the support and confidence they need to not only do the tricks, but to also provide them with the feedback they need through the bar during the tricks.

The ultimate wingman, the new Nitro will not only help you go to the next level but will also be there with you for the ride of your life.

ULTRA HT

An Apex series product from the CAB Design Works Team. Developed exclusively for kite leading edges, this is a strong, stable, and exceptionally responsive material. Ultra HT reduces the weight of the leading edge and struts while boasting incredibly low elongation and response. A unique and proprietary coating process increases durability and performance unlike anything you have felt before.

NANO RIPSTOP CANOPY

Nano Ripstop is a 55 g/m2 material with a 3mm double rip stop pattern. This micro rip stop material in unison with a newly developed coating, has given us a 2X increase in the canopy’s tear strength. A smaller rip stop pattern increases the amount of “cells” in any given panel.

FEATHERLITE BLADDERS

’The all new Apex bladders are not only 22% lighter than standard bladders, they are also through controlled elongation, able to work in harmony with UltraHT to increase response and speed of turning of the kite.

BULLETPROOF BUMPERS

These durable TPU bumpers are strong, lightweight and durable. They crossover, protecting the canopy to LE sewing. A new manufacturing process helps with abrasion when the kite is resting on a hard surface.

SPRINT 3.0

The Sprint 3.0 inflation system increases air flow from leading edge to the strut. The new straight and angled valves allow for no kinking of the inflation tube. It's secure fit design also allows for easy maintenance.

NITRO 7 POINT BRIDLE

Working alongside the Cabrinha International Big Air team we experimented many bridle options, but in the end the 7 point Nitro Apex bridle stood out as the best for kite control, reactivity and feel during regular jumps and kiteloops.
